Simple Sensor (SS) electrodes and transducers connect to the TEL100M-C amplifier/transmitter and can generally record biopotenitals and other signals for up to 24 hours. The SS21 goniometers measure limb angular movement. Goniometers attach to the body using TAPE2 medical adhesive tape. The units have a telescopic endblock that compensates for changes in distance between the two mounting points as the limb moves. The gauge mechanism allows for accurate measurement of polycentric joints. A DA100C is required for each output. Accordingly, the twin axis goniometers will require two DA100C amplifiers to measure both axes simultaneously.
- The SS20 and SS21 are dual output devices providing simultaneous measurements around two orthogonal rotational axes (e.g., wrist flexion/extension and radial/ulnar deviations).
- The SS22 and SS23 are single output devices used to measure axial rotation about a single plane (e.g., forearm pronation/supination).
- The SS24 is used to measure finger joint movement (single axis goniometer).
